Quotes

Some quotes I've come across lately that have been helping me deal with some crap. They're pretty cliche but sometime's cliche's good 'cause it sticks.

New Blog-Writer Friend

Essay for Indian High Commission (so I can get my refund ;)

The KIP group was informed that we had to complete an essay to be turned in to our individual Indian Consulates by the 11th February, 2011 before they would begin the process of refunding the 90% of our airline tickets as promised.

I'm actually very happy :)

Just so you don't think that I'm currently boy silly and depressed from the last post this song has been my anthem since I got back from India. I should've thought about sharing it here earlier :)

..."Sometimes there's airplanes I can't jump out,
sometimes there's bullshit that don't work now,
we've got our stories but please tell me
what there is to complain about"...

When you see how bad it could be you realise how good it really is.

-just because this song was playing in my head this morning :)

Essay on Gastroenteritis and My Journey Back Home From India.

Twenty-one days spent in a land of spirituality, beauty, history, adventure and at the same time the exact opposite of all these adjectives and all I find myself doing today as I sit in front of my laptop, dashboard on screen, is bitching to myself about my writing style and my inability to express thoughts as well as my friends in other blogs. I just can't write without preparation sometimes and then when I do it all comes out rather rigid and damn machine-like, conveying only facts free of emotion
